湖南农业大学是农业部与湖南省人民政府共建大学，是湖南省省属重点大学，是国家“2011”协同创新中心牵头建设单位，是一所特色鲜明、优势突出的高水平教学研究型大学。学校拥有袁隆平、官春云、陈立云、刘仲华等一批优秀科学家，现有中国工程院院士1人、双聘院士5人、美国科学院院士2人，高级职称专家829人，博士生导师307人，专任教师1361人。设有20个学院、1个研究生院，有在校普通全日制本科生27000人、研究生4445人；有博士后科研流动站10个，博士学位授权一级学科11个，硕士学位授权一级学科20个；有国家重点学科1个，省优势特色学科2个，省部级重点学科16个。动植物科学领域、农业科学领域的ESI学科排名进入全球前1%。 

HunanAgricultural University (HUNAU), is a key provincial university under theco-construction of the Ministry of Agriculture of China and the Hunan ProvincialGovernment, a leading construction unit of National "2011" CollaborativeInnovation Center, as well as a high level teaching and research university withdistinctive features and prominent advantages. HUNAU has a number of outstandingscientists, including Yuan Longping, Guan Chunyun，Chen Liyun and Liu Zhonghua. Currently, there are 1 academician ofthe Chinese Academy of Engineering, 5 external (doubly hired) academiciansincluding 2 members of the US National Academy of Sciences, 829 professorsincluding 307 doctoral supervisors and 1361 full-time teachers. HUNAU has 20undergraduate colleges and 1 graduate college, with 27000 undergraduate studentsand 4445 graduate students. It has 10 post-doctoral research stations, 11first-level disciplines authorized for doctor's degree and 20 first-leveldisciplines authorized for master's degree. It has 1 national key discipline, 2provincial preponderant characteristic disciplines, as well as 16 provincial andministerial key disciplines. 2 discipline fields of plant and animal science andagricultural science reached the global top 1% in the Essential ScienceIndicators (ESI) discipline ranking list. 

值115年校庆之际，为营造浓厚的学术氛围，搭建海内外青年学者学术交流和成果展示的平台，增进海内外青年才俊对学校的全面了解，吸引优秀青年学者来校发展创业，特于2018年12月26日举办首届“神农学者”青年人才论坛。 

Onthe occasion of the 115th anniversary of HUNAU, the first "Shennong Scholar"Young Talent Forum will be held on December 26, 2018, so as to create a strongacademic atmosphere, to set up a platform of academic exchange and achievementexhibition for young scholars from domestic and overseas, to better introduceHUNAU, and to attract outstanding young scholars to join theuniversity. 

    邀请学科方向：作物学、园艺学、生物学、农业资源与环境、植物保护、生态学、畜牧学、兽医学、农林经济管理、公共管理、草学、水产、食品科学与工程、环境科学与工程、农业工程等。 

InvitedDisciplines: Crop Science, Horticulture, Biology, Agricultural Resources andEnvironment, Plant Protection, Ecology, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine,Agriculture-Forest Economic Management, Public Administration, Grass Science,Aquatic Science, Food Science and Engineering, Environmental Science andEngineering, Agricultural Engineering, etc. 

邀请对象条件要求：（1）年龄不超过35岁，特别优秀者可不做要求；（2）具有海内外知名大学博士学位，并有3年以上连续海外学习、科研工作经历；（3）在相关学科领域取得一定成绩或具有发展潜力；（4）有意愿全职加盟湖南农业大学或与湖南农业大学合作申请国家“千人计划”、“长江学者”等人才项目。 

Requirements forinvited scholars: (1) below 35 years old， excellent candidate over 35 can be also considered; (2) a doctor'sdegree from well-known universities at home and abroad, and overseas experienceover 3 years of continuous study and research; (3) certain achievements ordevelopment potential in relevant disciplines; (4) willing to hold a full-timeposition at HUNAU or cooperate with the university to jointly apply for nationaltalent projects like "Thousand Talents Plan" and "Yangtze Scholars",etc. 

申请者填写个人资料，报名参加青年学者论坛活动，经学校确认邀请参会的，可获得参会往返的交通和食宿补助（参会学者最高报销18000元人民币，按财务政策实报实销，根据国家规定机票限报经济舱）。 

Theregistered applicants who have been officially invited by the university, canobtain allowance of a round-trip transportation and accommodation (It will be acost-based reimbursement with a maximum of 18,000 Yuan RMB. In addition, onlythe economy class air ticket can be reimbursed). 

根据湖南农业大学人才引进计划，为特聘教授提供200-2000万元的科研启动经费、100-300万元的购房补贴、50-100万元的年薪；为青年英才Ⅰ层次人才提供50万元的科研启动经费、60-100万元的购房补贴、30万元以上的年薪，具体待遇根据学科需求及个人条件来商议。学校为引进人才协调团队建设；特聘教授可直接聘任为教授、博士生导师；为青年英才职称聘任和研究生导师资格开通“绿色通道”；安排配偶工作和小孩入学等优厚政策。 

Under the HUNAUTalents Introduction Plan, the university will provide qualified DistinguishedProfessors with a start-up research fund of 2-20 million Yuan, a housing subsidyof 1-3 million Yuan and an annual salary of 0.5-1 million Yuan; providequalifiedⅠ-level Young Talents with a start-up research fund of 0.5 millionYuan, a housing subsidy of 0.6-1 million Yuan and an annual salary of over 0.3million Yuan. Specific demands can be negotiated according to the needs of thediscipline and personal conditions of the applicants. For the introduction oftalents, the university will coordinate the team construction. DistinguishedProfessors can be directly appointed as professors and doctoral supervisors; a"green channel" is open for qualified young talents in professional titles andpostgraduate supervisorqualification. Generous policies are offered such as the arranging for thespouse's employment and children'seducation.
